Our growing employment law practice is seeking a motivated and passionate Junior Attorney to join our team! This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with litigation, client interaction, and strategic case development from day one. The ideal candidate is eager to advocate for employees and make a meaningful impact in their legal journey.

Responsibilities:

Support a diverse caseload of employment matters, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and whistleblower actions.
Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and legal briefs.
Participate in client intake, meetings strategy sessions.
Conduct legal research to support case strategies and develop persuasive arguments.
Appear in court for conferences, motion arguments, and other proceedings.
Assist in preparing for mediations, hearings, depositions, and trials.
Maintain organized case files and monitor deadlines to ensure timely case progression.

Qualifications:

Licensed and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar. Admission to the New York bar is a plus.
Passion towards advocating for individuals with employment-related claims.
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
