Description:

Arnold & Porter is seeking a junior to mid-level associate (2021-2024) to join the Investment Management sub-group of the Corporate & Finance practice group in either the New York or Chicago office.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in investment management transactional work, including in private fund formation, and some familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940. Experience representing institutional investors and wealth advisory firms is a plus. All applicants should have excellent academic credentials and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Applicants must currently be licensed, or be eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction in which they are applying.

The salary range for this position in Illinois and New York is $225,000 to $310,000, commensurate with experience.

Eligibility for an hours-based bonus is available.
