King & Spalding seeks a junior to mid level associate to join its International Disputes practice, ranked No. 1 globally by Global Arbitration Review and Band 1 by Chambers Global, in Washington, DC. The position will offer a qualified candidate the opportunity to litigate in both federal courts, including the U.S. Courts of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court, and also in international arbitrations seated in the U.S. and abroad.Qualified candidates will have large law firm and/or judicial clerkship experience, ideally encompassing both complex commercial litigation in the U.S. and international arbitration. Judicial clerks ending their terms in 2026, without prior practice experience, are also encouraged to apply. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, and communication skills. Judicial clerkship experience is a plus; local bar admission required.

The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is $235,000 to $390,000. The salary offer will be contingent upon various factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
