Id as Can Pursue an Interdepartmental Career Path or Develop a Practice Focus Through Their A Business Law Firm Work Experience and Progress Into a Professional Attorney Track Role in A Specific Practice Group. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Thoughtful, High-Quality Research, Writing, and Review;

    • Reviewing and Negotiating Standard Commercial Contracts and Non-Disclosure Agreements;
    • Performing Substantive Document Review Using All Available Technology (namely Relativity), Including Reviewing Documents for Responsiveness, Confidentiality, Issues, and Privilege, as Well as Assisting with Corresponding Privilege Log;
    • Retrieving and Organizing Documents and Assist with Deposition Preparation; And
    • Drafting and Reviewing Memos and Other Summarizing Documents for Dissemination to The Broad Matter Team Regarding a Variety of Practice Areas.
  • Understand and Apply Ethics Rules and Seek Guidance on Issues of Ethics and Professionalism;
  • Assume Ownership Over Performance, Productivity, and Improvement; and Manage Assignments Through to A Successful Conclusion; And
  • Use Technology to Accomplish Tasks Efficiently.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. Degree from An Aba-Accredited Institution;
  • Licensed Michigan, Illinois, or Washington, Dc Attorney in Good Standing;
  • At Least 2 Years of Experience in Due Diligence, Litigation Discovery, And/or Real Estate Experience;
  • Outstanding Interpersonal, Analytical, Organizational, and Communication (written and Verbal) Skills Required;
  • Ability to Organize, Prioritize, and Punctually Complete Numerous Tasks, Even when Under Time Constraints;
  • Strong Overall Technology Skills and A Willingness to Learn and Apply New Practice Technologies or Applications.
