Our New York office seeks an associate to join our growing Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation practice. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials and three to six years of complex litigation experience in intellectual property and technology cases. A bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, computer science, or other engineering or the sciences is preferred. Strong research and writing skills are required, along with a demonstrated desire to be a trial lawyer. This Position is Eligible to Be a Remote Work Opportunity. If desired, the candidate hired for this position may work from the location of their choice in the U.S. and will travel to New York on a monthly basis to meet with case team members and other colleagues.

Successful candidates will also have strong creative problem solving, interpersonal, organization, planning and communication skills. The ability and willingness to report regularly and effectively with senior attorneys on the team is required. In addition, associates in the IP&T department must enjoy technology and have the ability to understand complex scientific and engineering concepts along with the ability to manage cases, assignments and team members efficiently and effectively, with a collegial and entrepreneurial approach. The ability to work independently and as a member of a team, shift focus, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain professionalism under pressure is required. Individuals who are results-oriented and self-starters with a high level of initiative and work ethic will find themselves at home.

IP&T Associates have opportunities for substantive case work including depositions, motion practice and trial. We'll also provide the training to help you become a premier trial lawyer.

New York City Salary Range: $225,000-$255,000 annually.
