Quarles LLP seeks a highly qualified Patent Prosecution Attorney with a background in electrical engineering to join our national Intellectual Property group. An undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, or related field, is required. Candidates must have 1-5 years of experience in patent prosecution. Admittance to the U.S.P.T.O. is preferred. The candidate must have a strong academic record paired with the skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to grow their practice and excel at this Firm.

Benefit eligibility is dependent on hours. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience, education and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The range for this position for individuals physically located in Chicago and Washington D.C. is $190,000 to $265,000. The range for this position for individuals physically located in San Diego and Washington D.C. is $175,000 to $250,000.
