Position Overview:
We Are Looking for An Intellectual Property Attorney to Assist with Trademark Prosecution, Ttab Matters, and Ip Agreements, Including Licensing Agreements and Saa S Agreements.
These Areas Will Be a Required and Substantial Part of The Position. the Ideal Candidate Will Also Be a Registered Patent Attorney and Able to Assist with Patent Prosecution and Other Patent Matters as Needed.
The Position Will Initially Be Part-Time, with An Expected Workload of Approximately 20 Hours per Week. Additional Hours Will Become Available in The Near Future, with Potential for Full-Time Employment.
The Selected Candidate Will Be Listed on The Firm's Website (name and Picture Only) and Must Be Willing to Be Client-Facing.
A Primary Factor in Our Firm's Growth Is Extended Availability to Clients. the Ideal Candidate Is Willing to Correspond with Clients and The Firm After Traditional Business Hours when Necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Trademark Prosecution
- Experience with Ttab Proceedings
- Experience Drafting and Reviewing Ip Agreements, Including:
- Licensing Agreements
- Saa S Agreements
- Other Technology and Intellectual Property Agreements
- Ability to Independently Manage Trademark Matters and Communicate with Clients
- Strong Understanding of Intellectual Property Law
- Uspto Registration Number Preferred
- Patent Prosecution Experience Preferred
- Experience with Patent Searches, Patent Application Drafting, and Office Action Responses Preferred
- Willingness to Work on Various Technical Subject Matters, Including Biotechnology and Software
- Willingness to Be Listed on The Firm's Website
- Ability to Communicate Directly with Clients
- Strong Work Ethic
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
