Salary Range:$240,000.00 To $280,000.00 Annually
About the role:
The New York office of Norris McLaughlin P.A. has an opening for a partner-level IP litigation attorney with 15+ years of experience in commercial litigation and IP litigation matters, particularly trademark litigation. We are looking for someone who can take a lead role in trying a case and work both independently and as part of our strong intellectual property team.
Responsibilities:
- Help lead a team of IP litigators in federal court matters, including taking the lead in depositions, trial preparation, and assisting in trying the case.
- Prepare clearance opinions, prosecute trademark and copyright applications
- Prepare coexistence and license agreements
Qualifications:
- Experience with opposition and cancellation proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Must be bar admitted in the state of New York and federal courts in New York
- Must have New York State court experience
- First-chair experience is a plus
