This is a great opportunity for an experienced attorney who is interested in growing their practice, or a motivated attorney with some prior experience in patent law to develop their skill set. Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney who is looking for part-time work to help supplement our practice. This role is ideal for an attorney seeking flexibility and a collegial atmosphere, with opportunities to take on meaningful work without the demands of a traditional full-time practice.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in intellectual property law, be licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar, and demonstrate excellent communication, writing, and client-service skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Strong background and practical experience in intellectual property law.
- Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proactive, client-focused approach with attention to detail.
- USPTO registration as a patent attorney preferred, but not required. Candidates with significant experience in other areas of IP (such as trademarks, copyrights, or licensing) are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar (preferably Texas or Indiana) and in good standing
- Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing intellectual property law
- Proven ability to management multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- USPTO patent attorney registration is preferred, but not required
