Leary, Bride, Mergner & Bongiovanni, P.A., a prominent and growing multi-state insurance defense law firm, with offices in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, is seeking an experienced attorney to handle complex personal injury and/or construction defect matters. This position offers a high degree of responsibility and client contact. Candidates must have excellent litigation, writing and persuasive speaking skills and must be adept in research. Admission to New Jersey and New York Bars required.Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
- Managing own caseload with oversight by partners
- Drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
- Research and writing of memoranda
- Attending hearings, inspections and court conferences
- Conducting and defending depositions
- Consulting with expert witnesses
- Attending mediations
- Trial preparation and trials
