Description:Kubicki Draper's Miami office is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of insurance defense experience to join our growing team. Experience handling automobile first- and third-party defense matters and/or premises liability is highly preferred.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Draft, review, and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Attend and conduct hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings
- Negotiate settlements and assist with the development and execution of case strategy
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and team members
- Manage cases and deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving litigation environment
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Office, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiently
Requirements:
- 1+ years of insurance defense experience
- Experience with first- and third-party automobile defense, property matters, and/or premises liability preferred
- Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
- Excellent legal research, writing, communication, and analytical skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional client service
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and interested in long-term professional growth and advancement
