Description:

Simon, Reed & Salazar, P.A. is seeking a newly admitted junior associate attorney (up to four years of experience) to join its growing insurance coverage practice. This position is ideal for an attorney looking to build a career in coverage law and complex litigation under the mentorship of an experienced team.

The associate will work directly with senior attorneys on:

Analyzing complex first- and third-party coverage issues across commercial property, homeowner's, marine/cargo, fine art, and general liability lines
Drafting reservation of rights letters, coverage position letters, and related correspondence
Conducting legal research on coverage disputes, bad faith exposure, and complex litigation issues
Supporting a team of experienced attorneys in insurance coverage matters, complex litigation, and federal court practice

We are looking for candidates with strong research and writing skills, sound judgment, and a genuine interest in developing a coverage practice. No prior coverage experience is required. We provide substantial mentoring and the opportunity to work directly with senior partners on sophisticated matters from day one.

Must be licensed in Florida.
