We will consider candidates for any of our offices including our virtual office, The Link. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit. This position has the possibility of a reduced billable-hour requirement and a flexible schedule.
The candidate should have experience handling insurance coverage disputes in the commercial insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation including, but not limited to, experience conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions, participating in mediation, and extensive communication with clients. The ideal candidate will also have experience representing clients in insurance coverage matters, including, but not limited to, experience reviewing commercial insurance policies, drafting coverage evaluations and reservation of rights letters, and extensive communication with clients regarding coverage issues and coverage positions.
The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
