Sacro & Walker LLP is seeking a motivated Insurance Coverage Associate to join its coverage practice, which advises and represents several national insurers. The practice has extensive first party property and third party liability expertise, handles complex, multi-party coverage litigation nationwide, and advises on life, accident, and disability claims.

This role focuses on advising and representing insurance carriers on coverage matters arising from third-party and first-party claims. The ideal candidate will have strong experience analyzing insurance policies, advising on coverage positions, and litigating coverage and related bad faith matters while working closely with claims professionals and defense counsel.

Associates receive hands-on mentorship and early responsibility, with opportunities to develop their own clientele.

The annual billable requirement for this position is 1850 hours.

Duties would include but not be limited to:

Assist in managing a caseload of coverage advice and coverage litigation for national insurers
Analyze first party property and third party liability policies and claim files to evaluate coverage and advise insurers
Support complex, multi-party coverage litigation in courts nationwide
Assist with life, accident, and disability matters, including first party litigation challenging claims determinations
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda; research statutes, case law, and policy language
Participate in depositions, mediations, court hearings, and trial preparation
Communicate with insurers and opposing counsel, and collaborate with partners on coverage and litigation strategy
