Position Overview:
The Real Estate Attorney will provide comprehensive legal support for A Full-Service Real Estate Development and Management Company commercial real estate operations. This role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, managing transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance, resolving disputes, and advising on all legal matters related to property management, acquisition, leasing, and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and closing documents
  • Conduct title searches, examine property titles, and resolve title issues
  • Advise on and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation, mediation, and dispute resolution related to real estate matters
  • Oversee and facilitate real estate closings, ensuring all legal documents are properly executed
  • Advise on zoning, land use, and environmental compliance issues
  • Provide legal counsel on property development, construction projects, and financing arrangements
  • Prepare and file necessary legal documents with courts, government agencies, and other parties
  • Stay current on changes in real estate law and advise management on potential impacts

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, drafting, and real estate transactions
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience handling complex transactions and litigation
  • Familiarity with Pennsylvania zoning, land use, and environmental regulations
  • Prior in-house counsel or property management legal experience
