Description:
Primary Responsibilities:- Determine participants' legal eligibility and suitability of cases for referral or representation;
- Counsel and review immigrant and non-immigrant visas, adjustment of status and naturalization cases;
- Respond accurately and timely;
- Maintain highly organized case files through our case management system;
- Proactively research new legislation and legal changes in immigration law;
- Collaborate with the wider immigration team, including paralegals, to address legal issues pertaining to our immigration services.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Represent clients in removal proceedings in Immigration Courts, primarily in asylum cases;
Requirements:
- Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction;
- 1 or 2 years of experience in an Asylum preferred;
- 1 or 2 years of experience in migration law;
- The position will be 100% remote;
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred;
- Membership in good standing in the bar of any state;
