Description:

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Determine participants' legal eligibility and suitability of cases for referral or representation;
  • Counsel and review immigrant and non-immigrant visas, adjustment of status and naturalization cases;
  • Respond accurately and timely;
  • Maintain highly organized case files through our case management system;
  • Proactively research new legislation and legal changes in immigration law;
  • Collaborate with the wider immigration team, including paralegals, to address legal issues pertaining to our immigration services.

Secondary Responsibilities:
Represent clients in removal proceedings in Immigration Courts, primarily in asylum cases;

Requirements:
  • Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction;
  • 1 or 2 years of experience in an Asylum preferred;
  • 1 or 2 years of experience in migration law;
  • The position will be 100% remote;
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred;
  • Membership in good standing in the bar of any state;
