Description:

We are seeking an associate attorney to handle in-person and virtual court hearings before the immigration, family and criminal courts.

Prior experience preferred but not required as we can train. Salary is negotiable and to commensurate with experience. A higher salary than what is posted will be considered for those with prior experience in Immigration Court.

Applicant will meet with clients to prepare their cases and meet with both paralegals and supervising attorneys to ensure timely preparation of court documents.

Applicant will also be responsible for filing court documents, including use of electronic filing systems such as eService, NYSCEF, and ECAS.

Travel is required for this position, including occasional trips to Newark Immigration Court, as well as courts within the New York City boroughs.

Applicant must be admitted to the New York State Bar. Spanish-speaking is strongly preferred but not required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per Year
