Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on immigration options, including visas, green cards, asylum, and deportation defense
  • Prepare and review legal documents such as petitions, applications, affidavits, and supporting evidence with precision and clarity
  • Represent clients in immigration court proceedings, hearings, and interviews
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to stay current on immigration laws and policies
  • Negotiate with government agencies to facilitate favorable outcomes for clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases involving family law, employment-based immigration, or criminal issues impacting immigration status
  • Maintain meticulous case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements

Experience:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction
  • Proven experience in immigration law practice, including handling cases related to visas, asylum, or deportation defense
  • Strong background in legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting detailed legal documents and correspondence
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with government agencies or other stakeholders
  • Familiarity with other practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law is a plus
  • Prior legal administrative experience managing case workflows efficiently

Pay: $100,430.73 - $150,475.72 per year
