Description:
The law firm of Carlson & Blakeman, LLP is hiring for an Associate Attorney to join its established immigration practice. Carlson & Blakeman is a firm located in downtown Omaha, Nebraska, and the position will include representation of immigration clients in removal court and family immigration cases. The attorney will work with Partner Julia Cryne and Associate Atziri Valadez Campos in the immigration section. The position is in person and will require the Associate to live in the greater Omaha, Nebraska area and come into the office.Qualifications:
- Proficient in both English and Spanish (will not need interpreter to speak with clients)
- Licensed to practice law and good standing before a state or federal bar,* preferably in Nebraska or Iowa
- Juris doctorate with accredited law school*
- Immigration law experience is preferred, but not required; training and mentorship will be provided as needed.
- We will consider current law students who will graduate in May and be licensed by September of 2027.
