- representing clients during Master Calendar and Individual hearings before the Immigration Court in New York and other jurisdictions;
- Attending Adjustment of Status, Stokes, I-751, and Naturalization interviews;
- Preparing and filing motions, joint motions, evidence, and other correspondence with the Immigration Court and Office of the Chief Counsel;
- Filing Notices of Appeal and Appellate briefs with the Board of Immigration Appeals;
- Preparing and litigating SIJS petitions before the New York Family Courts;
- Supervising the work of assigned experienced paralegals;
- Visiting with clients detained in immigration and criminal facilities.
Attorney should have at least 2 years of experience in Immigration Law and fluency in Spanish is preferred.
