The responsibilities for the associate attorney position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  1. representing clients during Master Calendar and Individual hearings before the Immigration Court in New York and other jurisdictions;
  2. Attending Adjustment of Status, Stokes, I-751, and Naturalization interviews;
  3. Preparing and filing motions, joint motions, evidence, and other correspondence with the Immigration Court and Office of the Chief Counsel;
  4. Filing Notices of Appeal and Appellate briefs with the Board of Immigration Appeals;
  5. Preparing and litigating SIJS petitions before the New York Family Courts;
  6. Supervising the work of assigned experienced paralegals;
  7. Visiting with clients detained in immigration and criminal facilities.

Attorney should have at least 2 years of experience in Immigration Law and fluency in Spanish is preferred.
