An Immigration Lawyer is a firm established in 2017. It currently attends immigration cases nationwide. Our firm takes pride of being a close and friendly environment. The firm currently employs 44 staff members including 8 attorneys and the Senior Partner, Claudia Canizares. We are looking for an Attorney to join our law firm, who is excited to about our industry and is ready to make a difference in the lives of our clients.The attorney must have experience in the following: asylums, removal proceedings, defensive applications for relief, family-based filings, naturalization, family-based consular processing, VAWA applications, and I-212/I-601A waivers. A keen interest in statutory interpretation and a confident and proactive demeanor in immigration court required.
Additionally, we have the following requirement:
- Must speak Spanish.

- Willing to travel outside of the state.
Your
main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the
following: Ability to communicate with the client, on the regular basis,
regarding their cases.
- Ability to manage their case load and meet set deadlines
- Responsible for keeping up to date on all legal issues that can impact our clients directly or indirectly.
- Ability to formulate creative legal strategies within the framework of all governmental and other regulations, laws and related policies, to provide our clients with the best legal advice possible.
- Will be required to draft motions, review and file cases, prepare briefs and memorandums of law as needed.
- Conduct legal research as needed.
- Create a legal strategy for the client's case from beginning to end.
