Our practice is searching for a full-time, passionate associate attorney to join our immigration team. Our team has years of experience with strong roots in the immigration community. We hope to provide our clients with the best experience possible with education, advocacy, and compassion being our primary goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law, excellent research and writing skills, and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients navigating the complex immigration system.Responsibilities/Duties:
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on immigration matters.
- Review case facts and develop case strategies.
- Analyze case situations and spot potential issues among a variety of immigration cases.
- Monitor changes in immigration laws, policies, and trends.
- Represent clients in removal proceedings and USCIS interviews.
- Maintain client contact to ensure clients are properly informed about their cases.
- Review and finalize immigration forms.
- Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, filings, and other legal documents.
- Other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor or equivalent degree required.
- Bar association admission/membership in good standing.
- Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant immigration experience.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
Qualifications:
- Experience in immigration is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Computer literacy.
- Experience with Microsoft, eImmigration, and Adobe.
