Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable Immigration Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in immigration law and can independently manage a varied caseload. This role requires excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

We are an established Sacramento immigration firm with a high-volume, advocacy-driven practice serving families and individuals across Northern California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file family-based petitions and related applications before USCIS.
  • Draft motions, briefs, and appeals before USCIS, EOIR, the BIA, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals.
  • Appear at master calendar and individual hearings in the Sacramento and Bay Area.
  • Develop case strategy; manage client communications; curate evidence; meet deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborate on internal case reviews and quality control.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. and bar admission (California preferred).
  • 2+ years of substantive immigration law experience (e.g., family-based, removal defense, waivers, appeals).
  • Excellent legal research and persuasive writing; proven brief/motion drafting.
  • Comfortable with EOIR appearances; willingness to travel locally for hearings.
  • High standards of professionalism, reliability, and client service.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
  • Strong technology proficiency (case management systems, e-filing, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace).
