We are a small, growing immigration law firm located in Riverside, California, seeking a motivated and dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our team, with a primary focus on removal defense.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed attorney or an attorney looking to develop and strengthen their litigation skills in immigration law. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, willing to take initiative, and passionate about advocating for individuals and families navigating the immigration system.

As a smaller firm, we offer an opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience handling cases, appearing in court, and working directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).
Appear regularly before the Santa Ana Immigration Court and immigration courts throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
Prepare and litigate applications for asylum, withholding of removal, protection under the Convention Against Torture (CAT), cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, and other forms of immigration relief.
Draft legal briefs, motions, declarations, and other court filings.
Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
Prepare clients and witnesses for individual hearings.
Attend master calendar hearings, individual hearings, and other immigration court proceedings.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding their cases, court appearances, and legal options.
Maintain organized case files and comply with court deadlines.
