Thompson Coburn is seeking an attorney in higher education law to join its office in St. Louis. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience or be a recent law school graduate who will sit for the bar in July. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in higher education law and a passion for advocating on behalf of educational institutions and their stakeholders. Experience in higher education transactional matters, such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and affiliation transactions, is a plus.

Candidates must have exceptional academic achievement, excellent analytical and writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to function independently and within a team. All candidates must currently be licensed to practice law in the state in which the office is located. This position is open to recruiters.
