About the role:
Our expanding practice is looking for a driven litigation attorney to manage a diverse legal workload with a high degree of autonomy. In this position, you will focus heavily on administrative law, healthcare litigation, regulatory oversight, and healthcare sector M&A transactions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and advance a varied caseload centering on healthcare regulatory compliance and administrative disputes.
  • Execute deep legal research, author high-quality pleadings and motions, and map out effective litigation strategies.
  • Serve as primary counsel for clients during administrative hearings, court dates, and agency negotiations.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients regarding Medicaid/Medicare guidelines, healthcare statutes, and corporate restructuring.
  • Partner with the internal team to refine firm practices and optimize client outcomes.
  • Keep meticulously organized matter files while strictly adhering to all professional legal standards.
  • Monitor shifting industry regulations and legal precedents to deliver accurate, up-to-date advice.
  • Model top-tier ethics, professionalism, and clear communication in every client and colleague interaction.

What we are looking for:
  • Experience: At least 3 to 4 years of dedicated litigation or administrative law practice.
  • Credentials: An active, unblemished law license with the State Bar of Texas.
  • Autonomy: A self-starter capable of delivering excellent results with little day-to-day oversight.
  • Skills: Advanced legal research capabilities and sharp analytical problem-solving skills for complex client matters.
  • Communication: Exceptional spoken and written advocacy skills.
  • Demeanor: A courteous, highly ethical, and deeply professional approach to practice.
  • Bonus: Prior exposure to healthcare transactional work is a plus, though not mandatory.
