Qualifications:
We have an immediate opening for a health care attorney with at least 2 years of litigation experience in health care law to help deliver effective solutions to complex legal issues facing clients that administer or provide health care services. Our health care clients primarily include health plans and hospitals. The health care team at BBK advises on a broad array of health care legal matters, including health care regulatory and compliance matters, health care reimbursement, health care operations, health information privacy and security, Medi-Cal managed care, provider and vendor contracting, payer-provider disputes, and mergers and acquisitions. Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience litigating health care reimbursement and regulatory compliance matters, including arbitration and litigation of reimbursement disputes. Public agency experience and experience with health care regulatory matters related to public health care providers and Medi-Cal a plus. Candidates must be admitted to practice in California. The ideal candidate will also be admitted in Nevada, or willing to take the Nevada bar exam.
