Responsibilities:
Mintz is seeking an associate with 3+ years of health care litigation experience to join our team in Boston, New York or Washington, DC. Applicants should have a comprehensive complex litigation skill set and experience representing clients, including healthcare companies and providers, in investigations, enforcement actions and related commercial litigation. Responsibilities will include conducting and supporting False Claims Act (FCA) investigations, including internal investigations related to healthcare fraud, government inquiries, and qui tam actions; managing discovery and drafting pleadings, motions and legal memoranda; and research and analysis of healthcare enforcement trends, compliance regulations and applicable state fraud and abuse laws.
Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role at Mintz. Therefore, the firm requires working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm's published guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted or eligible for admission in MA, NY or DC
- Must have 3+ years of complex litigation experience involving government enforcement or related white-collar matters; experience with FCA-related litigation is preferred
- Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients
- Ability to balance and prioritize competing priorities and responsibilities
- Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings

The salary range for this position is $310,000 to $365,000. This position is bonus eligible.
