Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP is seeking an associate with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join our nationally recognized Health Care practice.Our Health Care Litigation team represents many of California's hospital systems, nursing facilities, and other health care providers in high-stakes litigation and investigations. We handle complex and often precedent-setting matters that help shape the evolving landscape of health care law.
This is an exceptional opportunity to take on significant responsibility in a sophisticated litigation practice. Our litigators regularly appear before trial and appellate courts, arbitrators, and government agencies, providing associates with meaningful experience at every stage of litigation. Over the past decade, our team has been responsible for more published health care decisions in California than any other law firm.
Our matters include consumer class actions, commercial disputes, litigation involving government agencies, government and internal investigations, constitutional law, civil rights, fraud and abuse claims, qui tam actions, and other complex business and health care disputes.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of substantive litigation experience
- Strong experience with legal research, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and brief writing
- Outstanding legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client service abilities
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Health care litigation experience or familiarity with the health care industry
- Active California Bar membership in good standing
- The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity. Additional medical, financial and/or other benefits will be offered dependent on the position.
US Pay Range
$260,000—$365,000 USD
