Description:

The Legal Manager at Boxabl, with a focus on litigation, will be responsible for managing legal disputes and litigation matters to safeguard the company's interests. This role involves working closely with external legal counsel, developing dispute resolution strategies, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate should have a strong legal background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments within the organization.

Contract Management:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, customer contracts, and partnership agreements.
  • Ensure that all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies. o Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks in contractual agreements.

Legal Advisory:
  • Collaborate with management and relevant departments to address diverse issues, such as intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory compliance, in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations that may impact the company.

Compliance Oversight:
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the construction and manufacturing industry.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance throughout the organization.

Dispute Resolution:
  • Handle legal disputes and litigation matters, working closely with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop strategies for resolving disputes in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Corporate Governance:
  • Assist in matters related to corporate governance and ensure that the company operates within legal and regulatory guidelines. o Maintain corporate records and ensure compliance with corporate formalities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in law or a related field. A Juris Doctor (JD) is preferred.
  • Admitted to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a legal role, with a focus on contracts, compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and manufacturing industry regulations is a plus.
  • Litigation experience and familiarity with dispute resolution processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
