Job Description:Cooley LLP has an opportunity to work in the Government Contracts and National Security practice groups in our Washington, DC office. Preferred candidates should present a solid background and significant experience in government contracts transactional support (i.e., M&A and structured investments), DCSA facility security clearances and FOCI analyses, government contracts and regulatory counseling (especially in the areas of small business set-aside programs, SBIR and STTR awards, rights in technical data, software, and subject inventions, cybersecurity/CMMC compliance, and negotiation of prime contracts, subcontracts, and teaming agreements). The candidate should have (i) five or more years of government contracts practice experience, including meaningful transactional and counseling experience, (ii) the ability to multi-task on a variety of short-deadline assignments while continuously producing thoughtful, intelligent work product of superior quality, (iii) excellent writing skills, and (iv) a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school. Successful candidates will join a dynamic and growing practice and office of a nationally prominent firm. EOE/OPP.
The expected annual pay range for this position is $365,000+. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
