Job Summary:
An International Law Firm Headquartered in Washington, D.C. seeks a highly qualified associate to join its Government Contracts practice group working from its Washington, DC office.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in counseling clients on government cybersecurity matters.

Key Responsibilities Includes:
  • Provide expert advice and counsel to clients on government cybersecurity requirements and compliance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies and policies for government contracts, leveraging a background in computer science and/or auditing.
  • Conduct thorough audits and assessments to ensure client compliance with government cybersecurity standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address cybersecurity challenges and enhance client security posture.
  • Prepare and present reports and documentation related to cybersecurity compliance and audits.
  • Certifications such as CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP), Certified Cybersecurity Practitioner (CCP), and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) are preferred.

All candidates should have excellent academic and professional credentials as well as highly developed analytical, communication and writing skills. Candidates must be a member of the D.C. Bar or eligible to waive in.
