Crowell & Moring LLP seeks a highly qualified associate to join its Government Contracts practice group in our Washington, D.C. office.

The ideal candidate will have 2 – 4 years of experience in government contracts law, including meaningful bid protest experience before the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and/or the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Strong litigation experience is a plus.

Familiarity with advising clients on a broad range of government contracts matters, with a particular focus on bid protests, procurement-related disputes, and regulatory counseling, is preferred. The role includes representing clients in proceedings before the GAO and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, conducting legal research and analysis involving federal procurement laws and regulations, and drafting protest filings, motions, briefs, client memoranda, and other submissions. The associate will work closely with partners and colleagues on sophisticated matters and will be expected to contribute strategically to case development and client service.

All candidates should have excellent academic and professional credentials, as well as highly developed analytical, communication, and writing skills. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment, exercise sound judgment, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Candidates must be a member of the D.C. Bar or eligible to waive in.
