Description:

Position Highlights:
The James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona (UA) seeks a Global Professor of Practice to teach courses in US law for undergraduate students in one of our innovative dual degree undergraduate programs at Ocean University of China (OUC) . The successful candidate will start in Fall 2024.

Launched in 2015, the UA-OUC cooperative program, which allows Chinese students to earn undergraduate law degrees from both universities in four years, entirely in residence in China, has over 400 students. The degree program is the first U.S.-China joint offering in law available fully in residence in China. Students in the program will earn an LLB (the law degree commonly offered outside the United States) from OUC and a Bachelor of Arts in law from UA—taking the same U.S. law courses and receiving the same legal training as UA bachelor's in law students in Tucson. Law courses for the UA Bachelor of Arts will be taught in English in a flipped classroom setting during the third and fourth years of their undergraduate program.

Global faculty do not have scholarship responsibilities, but they are encouraged to participate in the scholarly life of the law school and may receive additional resources to support that work.

The final candidate will be asked to provide a copy of their diploma and/or transcript for the required credential verification.
