Job Description:The Chicago office of Sidley Austin LLP is seeking associates for its Global Finance Group to work on Asset Based Lending transactions with its bank and non-bank clients. The group is also generally seeking associates to work on leveraged finance transactions, including work with lenders on direct lending transactions, syndicated finance deals and fund finance matters, as well as similar work with borrower/sponsor clients. The candidates should have at least three years of experience representing either lenders or borrowers in the described commercial lending transactions. Strong experience with sponsor finance/LBO finance preferred. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documents and generally leading financing transactions. Candidates must be admitted or eligible for admission to the bar in the state of Illinois.
Salaries are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. The target salary range for this role is below. $310,000 - $445,000
