Legal Counsel:
  • To contribute to the delivery of the business, by working with the management through active engagement in legal matters.
  • To take a primary role in contract structuring, drafting and negotiation of complex IT outsourcing agreements, teaming agreements, software licenses etc.
  • Take a primary role in managing North American corporate governance and litigation including document review, strategy and managing outside counsel and expenses to contribute pro-actively to ensure that the activities of Atos comply with applicable laws and to ensure that company business strategies, policies and programs are applied.
  • To assist in managing third party claims. To act as an independent legal adviser in pushing projects forward and resolving difficulties.
  • To act in cooperation with the Atos Group Legal and Compliance Department and other special teams and central functions of the Atos Group.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. degree from a top tier law school
  • Excellent working knowledge of contract law and litigation with 7-10 years' work experience gained as in-house counsel in a Fortune 100 IT Company or in a global or national law firm.
  • Solid experience of the IT and BPO businesses and strong ability to work in a multicultural and international environment.
  • Excellent legal drafting and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, commercial acumen, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
