Cooley Los Angeles is seeking an entry-level or junior associate to join its dynamic, internationally recognized corporate practice. Our corporate attorneys advise entrepreneurs, investors, financial institutions, and established companies on sophisticated matters, with a significant emphasis on technology, life sciences, and other high-growth industries. Entry-level candidates with a background reflecting a strong interest in corporate practice and junior associates with one to two years of general corporate experience involving public and/or private companies are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated interest in or experience with some combination of emerging companies and venture capital (EC/VC), debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, private equity, and other general corporate matters at a national or international law firm. All candidates should have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school. EOE.
The expected annual pay range for this position is $225,000 - $235,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
