Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of litigation related to secured lending, including civil and title litigation, and bankruptcy matters
- Draft discovery, pleadings, and dispositive motions with precision and clarity
- Maintain timely and professional communication with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
- Conduct depositions and court appearances with thorough preparation and confidence
- Review title documents, foreclosure files, and respond to lender inquiries
- Provide strategic analysis and budgeting within 24 hours of file intake
- Support staff with legal guidance in a collaborative and approachable manner
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the Florida State Bar
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in mortgage-related litigation or other civil litigation
- Strong legal writing and research skills (WestLaw/LexisNexis proficiency required)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently both remotely and in-office
- Professional demeanor and commitment to delivering a positive client experience
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Team-oriented with a respectful and collaborative approach
- Problem-solving mindset with sound judgment and initiative
- Standard office conditions with occasional travel for court appearances
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Quiet to moderate noise level
