**Fully remote position, with some travel in Indiana or Ohio**

Job Summary:
Lender Legal PLLC, a creditor's rights firm with a primary practice area of residential mortgage foreclosure, is currently seeking an experienced attorney to join our Ohio/Indiana team.

Attorneys in this position will have experience handling all aspects of mortgage foreclosure litigation in Ohio and/or Indiana, including initial title review, complaint drafting, motion practice, discovery, mediations, trials, and execution on judgments. They will first-chair contested nonjury trials, take and defend depositions, and assist with legal research and writing on appellate matters as needed. They will work with both large and small financial institutions and investors.

Base salary range is $80,000-$95,000 with additional bonus compensation of up to $5,000 per quarter. Compensation commensurate with experience. The firm pays for 50% of healthcare benefits for employees and their families. The firm also provides paid vacation and 401k matching.

Requirements:
  • Law degree from ABA accredited law school.
  • License to practice law in Indiana or Ohio, and in good standing.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in mortgage foreclosure in IN or OH is required; experience in both states is preferred.
  • Real estate and/or title law experience is a plus.
  • Have a good working knowledge of litigation and motion practice, generally.
  • Willingness to travel as needed across the state of Ohio/Indiana (10%).
