Responsibilities and practice:
Dentons US LLP's New York office is seeking an entry-level Associate to join its sophisticated, Chambers-ranked Capital Markets practice. We are interested in speaking with recent 2026 law school graduates who are seeking a full-time position beginning this fall and have a demonstrated interest in structured finance. The ideal candidate will have exposure to or familiarity with structured finance transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements, and financing arrangements.
Candidates should possess strong academic credentials, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a desire to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced practice. The successful candidate will become an integral member of a dedicated team and will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of complex capital markets and structured finance matters. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Representing purchasers, sellers, servicers, creditors and borrowers, including banks, finance companies, private equity funds, hedge funds, public companies and private companies in structured finance transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements and financing transactions
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents and agreements
- Communicating with clients and transaction counterparties
- Working collaboratively to manage closings
- Supporting the practice as needed

Our highly-regarded team represents virtually every major banking and financial institution involved in the agency and trust aspects of securitization/structured finance.
Pursuant with New York law, the salary range for this position will be $225,000 based on experience. Based on years of experience, Dentons associates may have a title of Law Clerk or Associate.
