Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a mid-senior level associate to join its Finance team. The ideal candidate will have five+ years of relevant experience and a strong background in complex commercial lending and leveraged finance transactions, with location flexibility across our Chicago, Dallas and New York offices.

The candidate must have strong competence in drafting and negotiating principal financing documentation across a broad range of credit facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience advising private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers on complex domestic and cross-border debt financings. This role provides an opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions, including syndicated financings, secured and unsecured debt, leveraged acquisition financings and structured and alternative lending arrangements. The successful candidate will play a key role on a collaborative and market-leading Finance team, working on innovative and complex transactions.

Key Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a finance lawyer.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating principal financing documentation, including security documentation.
  • Experience representing private credit lenders and/or private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, recapitalizations, working capital facilities, and workouts.
  • Strong academic credentials.

Location: This position may be based in the Chicago, Dallas or New York offices. Applicants should indicate their office(s) of interest in their application. The full time base annual salary for this position is expected to range between $365,000- $435,000. This range represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting for a position in the applicable markets.
