The New York office of King & Spalding seeks an associate for its dynamic and growing Finance team. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of experience negotiating and executing complex finance transactions, including experience representing lenders, investors, borrowers and issuers in leveraged finance, acquisition finance, asset-based lending, unitranche, first lien/second lien, mezzanine and/or subordinated debt financings, and distressed debt and restructurings. The practice group's wide range of clients include leading investment and commercial banks, non-bank lenders, including private debt funds, private credit and direct lenders, BDCs, mezzanine funds and hedge funds, and sponsored and corporate borrowers and issuers. Candidates should be self-starters with great client management skills, superior academic credentials, and strong deal experience from a large law firm. The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is $235,000-$260,000. The salary offer will be contingent upon various factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
