Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP is seeking Associates to work with the Finance practice group in both of our New York and Atlanta office locations. We are looking to add several team members with 3-6 years of experience working in secured and unsecured commercial lending, project, and/or structured finance.

We cultivate exceptional attorneys across all levels by providing them with the tools and experiences needed to build successful careers. The attorney will join a practice that provides advice to a broad range of clients, including from industry leading banks, institutional investors, asset managers and significant corporate borrowers.  Our workout and restructuring team is part of our finance practice, and our finance attorneys bring their experience to these matters as well.  This position also provides a significant opportunity for a varied practice across a number of industries and sub-practices including telecommunications, media, automobile, manufacturing, technology, asset-based lender, aircraft leasing, water, timber, private credit, syndicated loan markets, and agribusiness.  RMD I would rewordthe prior sentence  to cover industries and sub-practices separately, along the lines of: This position also provides a significant opportunities in the private credit, ABS and syndicated loan markets across various industries, including telecommunications, media, automobile, manufacturing, technology, aircraft leasing, water, timber, and agribusiness.

Finance Associate Required Experience:
  • Three to Six years of relevant law firm experience.
  • Skills and knowledge related to a broad range of commercial lending and structured finance matters.
  • Experience related to senior, second lien and subordinated financings; workouts and restructurings; working capital and leveraged acquisition financings; accounts receivable financings; single-currency and multicurrency, domestic and cross-border financings; equipment financings; project finance; lines of credit; letter of credit transactions; securitization; and/or loan syndications and participations.
  • Experience managing multiple matters simultaneously and working with cross-functional teams.

The Associate position requires in-office presence three days per week. The salary is commensurate with years of relevant experience & geographic location. The salary range for our Associate position is $260,000-$390,000.
