Clark Hill's Dallas office is seeking second year law students for a Summer Associate position in its Fidelity/Surety & Coverage business unit for the 2024 Summer Associate Program.

Our 2024 Summer Associate Program will start at the end of May and last approximately 10 weeks. Unlike other firms — which often hire a number of students but extend only a few full-time offers — we hire a select group of Summer Associates with the intention of offering each of them positions as full-time associates. With this in mind, we recruit only the finest and most talented law students, who share our core values, and who we expect will thrive in our entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities for this role include research and preparation of research memorandums, drafting routine correspondence and legal documents; collecting, organizing, and reviewing records; assisting with all phases of discovery and trial preparation. Successful candidates must be detail-oriented, organized, and should possess a solid work ethic. Candidates should also have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as excellent research and writing skills. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required and trial advocacy, moot court, and/or law review experience is preferred.
