Location:
The Fellowship has historically been based in our Washington, DC office. This year, applicants who can only work from our New York office will also be considered. Please state in your cover letter whether you can only work in the New York office.
Qualifications:
We seek applications from recent law graduates, including judicial clerks and fellows, and current law students (with an anticipated graduation date in May 2026 or sooner) who share our commitment to performing the highest quality legal work to advance the public good.
Applicants should have strong academic credentials, superior analytical, research, writing, and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated experience working collaboratively. Applicants must be able to commit to one year of service to be considered for the Fellowship. Applicants must be, as of the start date of the Fellowship, (1) admitted to the bar of a state, territory, or district of the United States, or (2) awaiting exam results or admission after taking a bar exam.
Compensation and Benefits:
