What You'll Be Doing:
Manage a diverse caseload of family-based immigration matters, including:
- Adjustment of Status (AOS)
- I-130 Petitions
- Waivers (I-601, I-601A)
- U Visas
- SIJS (Special Immigrant Juvenile Status)
- DS-260 Consular Processing
- Naturalization (N-400)
- Affirmative Asylum
- VAWA
- I-129F finance visa
- Represent clients in USCIS interviews and immigration court proceedings.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and legal correspondence.
- Maintain direct client communication and provide strategic legal counsel.
- Supervise and mentor a paralegal and/or legal assistant.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve internal systems and automate workflows.
- Utilize Docketwise and Monday.com for case and task management.
- Strong organizational skills, implementing workflow, and process improvement.
- Utilize approved AI tools for preparing the case packet.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in family-based immigration law.
- Education: J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar license in any U.S. state.
- Skills: Strong research, case strategy, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Experience with USCIS forms and petitions is essential.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with Docketwise and Monday.com is a plus. Willingness to contribute to process improvement and automation is expected.
- Leadership: Ability to supervise support staff and work independently while collaborating with the legal team and CEO.
- Client-Focused: A genuine commitment to immigration law and a desire to help clients overcome complex legal challenges.
- Language: Spanish fluency is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $80,000.00 annual salary
- Salary and bonus review after 6 months
