Position Summary:
The Staff Attorney will provide legal representation in a variety of family law matters and manage an independent caseload. This role involves substantial litigation, client advocacy, community engagement, and outreach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain an independent family law caseload.
  • Interview and advise clients, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct depositions and discovery.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel and parties.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and before administrative agencies.
  • Conduct client intake and home visits as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, client groups, and service providers.
  • Develop and present community education programs and outreach events.
  • Participate in special projects, clinics, and other assignments as directed.

Qualifications:
  • Admission to the Florida Bar required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to social, economic, and racial justice.
  • Passion for serving low-income and underserved communities.
  • Experience or interest in family law preferred.
  • Strong litigation, advocacy, communication, and client-relations skills.

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $75,000 - $83,000 (based on 1-6 years of experience)
