Minella Law Group is growing, and we are looking for a talented Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of experience in family law and/or estate planning to join our dynamic team.

This unique crossover position offers the opportunity to work in both family law and estate planning, providing strategic legal support across two meaningful practice areas while developing well-rounded expertise in each.

Led by Certified Family Law Specialist Kathy Minella, our firm is known for high-level advocacy, compassionate client care, and a collaborative, growth-minded culture. We are seeking an attorney who thrives in the drafting, strategy, and case development side of legal practice.

This role is primarily focused on drafting and legal analysis, with no anticipated court appearances, making it an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys producing exceptional legal work without the demands of litigation.

Responsibilities:

Draft family law pleadings, motions, declarations, discovery, and settlement agreements
Prepare estate planning documents including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and related instruments
Conduct legal research and assist with strategic case development
Review, revise, and finalize legal documents with precision and professionalism
Work collaboratively with lead attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
Maintain organized case management and meet firm deadlines

Qualifications:

Active California Bar license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of experience in family law, estate planning, or a combination of both
Exceptional drafting, writing, and analytical skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive, proactive mindset
No courtroom or litigation experience required
