Description:Our law firm is growing, and we are looking for a sharp family law attorney who will zealously represent clients in all areas of Washington State family law. You'll assist individuals in a variety of situations, such as navigating prenuptial agreements and attending court hearings for divorce, alimony/spousal support, and child support.
The prime candidate will have experience with a range of sensitive legal issues, such as High asset property division, child custody, and domestic violence, and be able to maintain composure, negotiate, and argue effectively even in emotional and high-stress situations.
We will also consider Washington State attorneys with litigation, dependency, and criminal justice backgrounds.

Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing a legal strategy based on client goals, case facts, and applicable law.
- Building strong connections with clients through compassionate and clear communication.
- Representing clients confidently and competently in court and during meetings, primarily in Pierce, King, and nearby counties.
- Delegating and monitoring work with paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring high-quality work and that all deadlines are met.
- Maintaining a commitment to character, integrity, and work ethic while working within a growing, dynamic firm.
Qualifications:
- Previous criminal justice or other legal background preferred
- Bachelor's degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required
- Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations
- Strong knowledge base of representing plaintiffs and defendants
- At least 1-2 years of working in a law firm on family law issues as well as real estate (determining marital property) is necessary
Compensation:
$90,000 - $160,000 yearly
