As a Family Law Attorney at our firm, you will leverage your expertise in litigation, negotiation, and family law to provide strategic counsel and compassionate support to clients. This is a remote position offering flexibility and growth opportunities while handling meaningful family law matters - including divorce, custody disputes, domestic violence, and related issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Independently handle complex child custody disputes, divorces, and related family law matters, including cases involving domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health issues.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, settlement agreements, and client correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and thorough case analysis.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including motions, hearings, and trials.
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
  • Provide empathy and compassion to clients while empowering them with strategic advice and guidance.
  • Manage cases efficiently with strong attention to detail, organization, and proactive communication.

Qualifications:
  • California law license (Required).
  • 2+ years of dedicated family law experience, including litigation and court appearances (Required).
  • Proven success representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration.
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, and research skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—clear, professional, persuasive.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced practice.
  • Comfortable using legal technology such as Clio, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Dropbox.
